You should write an e-mail to doais1[at]nic.in stating the detailed reasons and wait for a few days.


The candidates must retain this password safely. The transaction password can be used for the following:-

  1. While finalizing the declaration form for medical examination
  2. While finalizing the attestation form
  3. While preferring an appeal against the findings of the CSMB in r/o candidates declared unfit by CSMB.
  4. While submitting the documents for medical re-examination in r/o candidates declared temp. unfit by CSMB


  • Your Medical Examination Schedule Letter will be visible to you from the date of your interview.
  • You will also be able to fill the declaration form for Medical Examination from the date of your interview.
  • You can download the medical examination forms for the hospitals after filling the declaration form and submit it to medical board on the date of your medical examination.


Login with the email address and password set by you as explained in answer of the question number 2. If you are logging in for the first time, you will be directly taken to the Profile Update page. Please keep the following things handy.

  1. Passport size color photograph with white background in JPG/JPEG format with maximum size 50KB.
  2. Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format with maximum size 20KB
  3. Scanned Photo ID (PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Aadhaar Card/Registration Certificate) in JPG/JPEG or PDF format with maximum size 200KB.

Choose the file and then click on Upload button beneath that. The uploaded file will be shown as preview. Finally set a transaction password of your choice as per the policy shown on right. For better security, this may be set different from your login password.


Login password can be used only to login/access your account and you can only view the information. This password is different from transaction password.


You can access the CSE Candidates' Information Central by visiting URL https://cseplus.nic.in/ .


Do the following step by step:-

  1. Visit the link 'Forgot Password' given in the Login Page of CSE Candidates' Information Central or Click on Forgot Password available in the text of email sent on 01.04.2022 by DOPT through e-mail doais1[at]nic[dot]in containing subject User guide to set password in r/o candidates qualified in CSE (Mains)-2021 Intimation reg. (CSE-2021, Roll Number - ******)
  2. Enter the email address provided in UPSC's Detailed Application Form (DAF).
  3. Enter the letters/numbers shown in the CAPTCHA image.
  4. Click on 'Enter' button.
  5. You will receive two different OTPs one in your email and one in your mobile. Enter these OTPs in the relevant boxes and click on 'Verify'.
  6. If the entered OTPs are correct, you will be asked to enter the password (set the password of your choice). Re-enter the password to confirm. Then click on 'Submit'
  7. If the passwords are correctly entered as per the policy, you will be taken to the Login page.
